Part-Time Position 15-25 hours per week
Salary: $12 - $15 Per Hour

Utilizing advanced and highly secured cloud based technologies, in combination with community based service personnel, RedLight Security customers’ experience highly personalize security solutions while having access to state-of-the-art solutions.
The right candidate for this position will combine an entrepreneurial spirit and team working skills with the commitment to outstanding customer service. This person does not need to have prior experience in the security industry, but should have an interest in being trained in low voltage and wireless security and fire system installations, CCTV and networking, internet applications, inventory management, sales, customer service, and office administration.
- Provide onsite service for security, camera, or fire systems in residential homes or commercial businesses
- Organized - Complete monthly equipment inventory, program and assign parts for installations, pick-up and deliver parts for job sites
- Dependable - Starting times vary; work as many hours as it takes to get service or task completed, schedule can be flexible
- Initiative; Must be able to work independently
- Provide exceptional customer service & develop strong relationships with customers, local jurisdiction authorities, and sub-contractors
- Responsible; Good Judgment
- Requires reliable sight, hearing, verbal and written communication.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Qualifications
- Walking, bending, kneeling, climbing on ladders, twisting, placing body in adverse positions to be able to service alarm systems, overhead work, ability to work on ladders, long hours on your feet; good balance required - Lift 60# daily up to 100# on occasion
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Required Education - Highschool or Equivalent
- PERC certification required. Or the ability to become certified within 10 days of hire (pass a criminal background check).
- Computer Proficiency - Moderate proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Basic proficiency using Adobe and the ability to learn and navigate other web based applications
- Reliable vehicle with proof of valid insurance

The right candidate for this position will combine an entrepreneurial spirit and team working skills with the commitment to outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous experience installing and servicing intrusion, cctv, and fire systems in both residential and commercial applications. They can work independently to carry out installations and troubleshoot service calls. Will effectively communicate on a regular basis with internal staff to coordinate installs, service, and sales. Has an IT background to be able to program alarm systems, manage CCTV software, and network applications and thoroughly documents all work performed for daily electronic submissions.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in low voltage security alarm work
- Education and/or training in electronics is highly preferred.
- High proficiency working with Honeywell Equipment and online applications.
- Lives within a 30 mile radius of Barrington, IL
- Available to work additional hours and occasional weekends as needed with prior notice
